Gary C. Grant
Mr. Grant has been primarily involved in financing and rehabilitating affordable multifamily housing projects since 1980. Mr. Grant has also concentrated his activities in the affordable housing sector resulting in numerous transactions with properties possessing both current and former HUD affiliations. A licensed Real Estate Broker, he is involved on a daily basis in arranging affordable housing transactions involving various forms of federal and state financing. Mr. Grant has been involved either as a principal, or as a consultant in the preservation and rehabilitation of over 12,000 units of affordable multifamily housing across the nation.
Julie Rodriguez, CPM
Ms. Rodriguez joined the DeSola team with 28 years of property management experience. As executive Vice President of Asset Management, she oversees every detail of management for all assets. Ms. Rodriguez specializes in acquisitions, repositioning and rehabilitation of affordable and conventional multifamily and commercial real estate across the country and has held positions from Property Manager, Regional Manager, Senior Regional Manager, Regional Vice President and Vice President of Operations. She has extensive experience working with Private Investors, REITs and Private Fund Development and Management of multifamily housing. Ms. Rodriguez is a (CPM) Certified Property Manager with the Institute of Real Estate Management, a prestigious designation in real estate management. She currently serves on the Orange County Board for IREM and previously served on the Michigan Board of IREM for five years. Ms. Rodriguez is also a a licensed realtor in California.
Acquisition & Development
Mr. McGee is responsible for managing DeSola's national investment acquisitions platform. He sources, underwrites, finances and closes LIHTC, HUD and market rate multifamily investment opportunities throughout the United States. During his career, Mr. McGee has acquired and sold more than $600 million in real estate and financed over $450 million in Freddie, Fannie and FHA debt. Prior to joining DeSola, he spent 10 years at Steadfast Companies in various leadership roles, including managing the dispositions group. Mr. McGee earned his MBA from the University of Southern California and BA in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame.
Finance & Accounting
Mr. Gomez has been a CFO for the past 14 years at DeSola. During 10 of those 14 years, he has overseen the expansion and management of the affordable multifamily housing division of an integrated real estate company. Mr. Gomez currently oversees the accounting for all affordable multifamily housing properties and assists in related HUD and property management.
Construction & Renovation
Mr. Kenny joined the DeSola team as the Vice President of Construction in 2013. He oversees the project planning, estimating, scheduling, engineering and architectural intricacies of all projects. Mr. Kenny has 28 years of experience ranging from a Commercial Foreman, Chief Estimator, Project Manager, Operations Manager, Sr. Project Manager to Vice President of Construction.
